Domaine Henri Boillot is located in Meursault and owns vines in the Puligny-Montrachet and Volnay appellations. Since 1885, the Boillot family has been at the head of the 19-hectare estate. In white, Chardonnay covers 7 hectares in Meursault, Corton-Charlemagne or Puligny-Montrachet. In red, Pinot Noir grows in the Pommard and Volnay appellations. Henri Boillot is in charge of the vinification of the estate's whites. For the rest, his son, Guillaume Boillot, took over. The Clos de la Mouchère vineyard covers four landlocked hectares in the premier cru Les Perrières: an exceptional terroir that produces a deep and mineral Chardonnay. The 14 months' aging in the barrel gives the wine structure and density. This Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Mouchère Monopole is a first-rate Chardonnay. The nose is very elegant with white flowers, ripe fruit, and a touch of spice. In the mouth, the wine is deep and powerful, ideally combining richness, minerality, and lively acidity. It is a wine of rare concentration with an exceptional aromatic profile. Try it with lobster, poultry or fish served with white sauces.
